Constructed in wartime green webbing, this holster was designed to carry the British . 38 calibre service revolver and forms part of the 1944 Pattern Web Equipment set introduced during the latter stages of the Second World War. The holster retains its original closure strap, blackened steel fittings and rear attachment hooks
