Saddleback Cellars Old Vine Zinfandel 2016 Celebrity Delicately smooth and creamy withChallenges in 2016 included an especially low yield, and so the addition of 4% Tempranillo is new in this vintage, adding even more depth of flavor. As an expression of the Zin varietal, on the nose find aromas of blackberry preserves, violets and gunsmoke. On the palate, rich dark berry and dried plum with vanilla and powdered cocoa. Notable is the harmony and balance between fruit and tannin on the finish.
