The texture of burnt metal allows for many interesting scenes to be seen

On seeing this on the computer screen and rotating it to landscape format  I saw lots of animals in the foreground

The men were obviously hunting and questioned the farmer where the wild pigs went

“Almost Home” is seen in the colour and texture of the bark of a tree with sunlight and shade creating the image for the starting canvas

Sticky beaks 2. Australian original art print. Picton The texture of burnt metalAs seen in the colour and texture of rain streaks over a large rusty steel pipe found along the road on a semi trailer. I photographed the whole pipe from top to bottom and side to side. The texture of the streaks on the pipe caught my attention. It looked like reeds in a waterhole. Some of these photos became the starting canvas for another series of artwork. NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
