2019 Upper Bench Chardonnay Wine An outstanding single vineyard wineA very well rounded Chardonnay with a classic 50 50 split of stainless steel and French oak barrels aging (3 months). The nose was not the most expressive but I could detect a hint of Granny Smith apple, pear, vanilla and almonds. The palate is round and crisp with a distinctive minerality showing grapefruit, gooseberry, lemon and a little bit of stone fruits.
