To capture Frozen Portal, I had to walk quite a distance across a frozen lake. The ice boomed and cracked beneath me loud, unexpected, and honestly, a bit terrifying. But I couldnt turn back. Id spotted this glacial cave earlier in the day, and I knew the view from inside could be incredible. When I got there, I had to lie down in the cave, just low enough to see through the arch.
