Ratafi的起源應是來自拉丁文中”Rata Fiat”，意思是條約被批准。是混合未發酵的葡萄汁與蒸餾酒的一種酒款。在橡木桶中培養18個月。建議10~12度C的溫度下品嘗，開瓶可以保存數周。
