Your biggest rival will be Cogsworth, Grandfather Clock from Rise of the Floodborn, as his ability to give all other opposing characters +1 Resist will completely turn off your Sheriff as his reduced damage wont get through the Resist and Cogsworths Ward ability means you cant target him either

Instead of wanting to go wide and use Items, the Amethyst/Steel leans into the new Resist mechanic and is more of a Control deck

1 Mufasa - Ruler of Pride Rock 217/204, Sapphire Scar has a great Disney Lorcana: Shimmering Skies Enchanted card, but as always, his brother manages to outshine him
